DescriptionFrom the story “Now Dying in This Corner”-written by Doom Patrol co-creator Arnold Drake and drawn by Joel Magayo.The number one heavyweight contender with a heart condition sees a doctor who doesn’t know who he is. He wants to fight one last time even if he dies doing it. Thanks to voodoo, he continues to fight the champion after he dies. This page is from one of the comics of my childhood. As a boxing and horror fan, I was drawn by the Starlin boxing zombie cover. If you have another page from this story I am definitely interested. Social/Sharing |
