Description

10.5x15-7/8" artboard has pen and ink original art by Jack Kirby w/inks by Mike Royer for page 3 of Justice Inc. #4, published by DC Comics Nov.-Dec. 1975. Art is from Slay Ride In The Sky story and features six panels, showing seemingly unnatural bird strikes on two aircraft. Third panel features Kirby Krackle as first plane goes down in flames. Last panel has been signed in black felt tip pen by Jack Kirby. Inked title and issue/page numbers at top margin. Back had DC Comics copyright inkstamp as well as two inkstamps reading "Publication Prohibited Without Express Permission Of Jack Kirby." Top/bottom center margins have thin strip of tape staining. Art remains clean and Exc.

The King! Great storytelling, and so much action! Royer's inks are just perfect, and the perspective of the last panel is amazing.
