DescriptionA full team of iconic Inhumans is featured on this cover, which depicts their leader, Black Bolt, at the mercy of Kree Commander Mon-Tog (spelled incorrectly on the cover as Mor-Tog), with Medusa, Triton, Gorgon, and Karnak already captured by the mighty Kree warrior. Interestingly, while Mon-Tog makes his first appearance on this cover, the story introducing him wasn't published until the following issue, #10. Mon-Tog is particularly notable for being the only known member of the Kree to resemble a Black human, as the Kree are typically either pure-blooded blue or "pink," the latter resulting from intermingling with other alien races. Adding to the confusion, the printed cover to this issue mistakenly depicts Mon-Tog as blue, while the interior art of issue #10 correctly portrays him as Black.Social/Sharing |
