I said Drax life (Drax life), and as Cammi as it may seem
Some people get their inks sketchin' out a dream
But I don't let it, let it get me down
'cause this fine artwork, Mitch keeps spinnin' around
I've seen the comics, destroyer, and buy it, to show it a wrestling ring
I've been up and down Batista is out and I know one thing
Each time I find myself flat on splash page
I pick my art up and get Drax once again
Great work on the hair and textiles.
I know Drax is dead and the town is all busted up but the Physics test has to be postponed right? So not all bad news. I mean poor Charlie over there suffering with third degree burns.
nice title splash. it's interesting to see modern title pages/intro splashes like this where the published version almost has a vintage feel with the way they do the title card/credits treatment, but sad we don't get to see any of that on the art board unless we make our own overlays. still, pretty cool to see it done that way regardless within the story.

This is very much the proto-beginnings of modern-day GoTG. Great mini-series that ultimately paved the way for the Annihilation events!
