Description
It's the quiet moments with the X-Men that we enjoy the most! Great page with Colossus, Psylocke, Rogue, Dazzler and Longshot. Why did Colossus have to be in his metal form to make art? Best comment in the first 24 hours (as deemed by me) gets a CAF prize package of my choosing!

Colossus always draws in his metal form because he makes good use of the secondary lighting reflected off his abs.

Silvestri always looked best when inked by Green, in my opinion. Love this page and it brings back memories! Also, Colossus was stuck in his organic steel form at the time, so that's why he's in metal form while drawing Betsy.

That 2nd panel... Colossus is a brave man to sit like that with a naked Psylocke in front of him... 👀

Silvestris colossus may be my favorite version of him. Nice piece bill!

When one is in organic metal form analogous to osmium and to carbon steel one does not have to worry about unexpected wood when gazing at naked teammate, comrade.  Is simple mutie biology as taught in introductory course by Professor Xavier in class “Skintight Spandex and you.”

Colossus appears to be hard (in most places, but not all) for this paint job.

WOW!!  What a spectacular page, I saw this go up a few years ago and so sad to have missed.  So many great things to love.  Huge congrats on this beauty.

You act like you wouldn't be in your hard form if you were in Colossus' situation.

A typically great character moment from Claremont with on point art by Silvestri. you've got power (in Colossus), tactful sexiness (in Psylocke), cartoony titillation (in Dazzler with her ass up after crashing) and humor (in all 4).

(as for Colossus being powered in, he knows art can be quite messy, especially when drawing beautiful nude women, and metal cleans more easily than human skin ;)

Once I ran to you (I ran)
Now I'll run from you
This Longshot love you've given
I give you all a girl could give you
Take my tears and that's not nearly all
Oh... Longshot love
Longshot love

Silvestri and Green were a special combo.  Great example of Silvestri's storytelling abilities

so what happened to the portrait? did she get it framed and matted on the wall? or did she decide to trade up for a few $2k mignolas!? if this doesn't spur on a new commission request theme for OAX 26 I don't know what will. awesome page, Bill!

Before you marry a person, you should first make them use a computer with slow Internet service to see who they really are.
