The left is more symbolic of the mutant struggle and the right is the more literal direct confrontation. They are both so good that Bradshaw could probably use the ideas from left one for another cover down the line and sub in the sentinels.

that is pretty cool to see. I looked at the pub'd cover first so it's obvious to me which one he went with but I'd love to see the version on the left as a cover too because it's also a great design and the team shot feels a bit more close up perspective/scale wise. that said, the one on the right is also awesome and the final cover turned out so
