Description
Kyle Baker is one of the greats. He's one of my favorite humor cartoonists, his current run of Action / Adventure cartooning has been great as well (most of these are published under the pen name Viverra, check them out), and he was/is of course an exceptional super hero comic inker also.

If you've not read the Superman's Babysitter story before you need to pick that one up. It's a hilarious story about baby Kal-El running amok when Ma and Pa Kent need a well deserved night out to themselves. Paul Levitz apparently freaked out when he saw lil' Kal-El accidentally crawl into the microwave and ordered Elseworld's 80 Page Giant(which originally contained the story) pulled and pulped. In the post-Levitz era DC thankfully decided to include this story in the Bizzaro Comics collections.

I asked Kyle to do a sketch of Letitia and Kal-El and he said he had to wait for the right gag to come to him, and I think he delivered. I absolutely love the Action Comics 1 parody/homage especially the cow in place of the classic man in horror in the lower left corner. The tractor is well rendered and a perfect sub for the '37 Desoto in the original. Thanks, Kyle!

I think the cow also knows what's going to happen to her when baby gets hungry after this.
