Description

First time published in Warren Magazine "1984" #1 (1978) as a 6-page story named "Quick Cut," but originally it was a 12-page story.
A few months later, Wood published Woodwork Gazette #2, including the complete 12-page story with his original title "The End".

Might have been Wood's last great work before his health decline. This splash image of the tree shows that he was still very capable of reaching the those heights of his artistry from his past.
