Description
Direct from Heritage..
You can almost hear the squadron of Imperial TIE Interceptors whizzing past (despite the silence of space!) as they pursue the fearless Rebel heroes through the vast expanse of the galaxy. This exhilarating pin-up, from the penultimate issue of Marvel's limited series adaptation of the final episode of the original Star Wars trilogy, showcases the beautifully rendered cosmos and intricately detailed ships, perfectly capturing the sense of pursuit and impending danger. Created in ink, screentone, and white paint over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of 10" x 15". Slight toning, production-trimmed edges/corners, text paste-ups, light smudging, and minor handling wear. In Excellent condition.

I see Heritage threw in a copy of the comic.  That sealed the deal!  Worth every penny.  Congratulations!

This is a fabulous page!  You know, Star Wars was not an intellectual endeavor like 2001 was; the speeding spaceship, laser blasts and explosion sound effects in outer space, were absolutely necessary to carry it off.  If they tried to go totally realistic, with the breathing of characters in space helmets only, I doubt we'd be buying pages like this off Heritage in 2025.  I doubt a 2nd movie would ever have materialized.
