Huge thank you to the great Steve Niles for this one. My 19 year old self had their mind blown by the artwork in this incredible graphic novel back in 1991. The fact that I own a page from it - and THIS page in particular blows my mind once again.

Incredibly labor intensive crosshatching illustration work. Just when you think there couldn't be another level created, the density of the linework exceeds expection to get even more minute details for the facial expressions.
