DescriptionThe New Mutants are trying to teach Bird Boy (or the less PC name they started using, Bird Brain), while learning about him in the process. Unsurprisingly, food seems to be the best motivator. As much as he's diggin his new friends, he can't help but think and worry for all the other creatures left on the island. He escapes to McBurger's (for trademark reasons) and scares the s**t out of some poor teen workers. In a decision they'll end up regretting, the muties defy their grounding and port to spooky island for an attempted zoo break.Tom truly gets the combo of silly and heavy in some of these stories. 11x17. Order through the app. They can earn rewards for more McDowels Big Micks. The Bird Boy face is one of desperation and it's the survival instincts kicking in. You can see why the locals are in fear of the New Mutants and mutants in general.

Wow, beautiful stuff, very expressive. Agreat homage to the Bret Blevins days!

Does Bird Boy's food need to be pre-chewed for him?
I'd imagine he's like most big birds and it's down in one.

Fabulous Birdboy commission, love the fast food/diner reference material. Truly a unique character and captured really well. Cheers!
