It might have been obscured by the printed cover's colors, but seeing this in b&w with the screentone suggests that this Dragotta cover is highly influenced by the horror and sci-fi manga genre.

Wow! You snagged both covers!! Hard to pick a favorite but, gun to my head, it might be this one.
Love all that zip. Creates amazing depth and texture. The composition is so spot on. Love the A-shape, Triangle theory and how the characters fall on a single vertical line. All the good stuff you'd see in any Frazetta.
Suspenseful, powerful, even pretty. Congratulations
