'Red Series' Ultimate Spider-Man by Marco Checchetto

8.3x11.7 in size

A few years ago, I was lucky enough to purchase Marco Checchetto's cover to Symbiote Spider-Man - Alien Reality No. 1 (No, I haven't put it on CAF yet).

I was blown away by that cover and Checchetto's artwork. Since then I have since been trying to get another piece by him. Unfortunately there hasn't been much opportunity to do so, being resident in the UK and not attending stateside cons.

In that time Checchetto's artwork has witnessed a (well deserved) steep rise in cost. No doubt brought about by his rising popularity and the success of Ultimate Spider-Man, so I was extremely thankful to be able to obtain this from him during London MCM ComiCon 2025 before I was completely priced out of ever obtaining another piece by him, I love Checchetto's red series and am now a proud owner of one. Even more so - it's (full body) classic suit Spidey which compliments the Symbiote suit from the other cover. I must put that up on CAF soon.

Marco is definitely a rising star with a rocket pack strapped to his career! His UXM run took the industry by storm and he's a big part of its success!

It's well deserved. I was wondering why the industry and hobby wasn't giving him the attention he deserves and then boom! My only regret is that I didn't get more art by him before he took off!!
