�� Thomas Yeates was drawing Tarzan comics for Dark Horse when I met him at WonderCon in Oakland about 1996. I was just getting sketches then and asked Thomas for Tarzan and Jad-Bal-Ja the golden lion. I purchased a Tarzan page with Al Williamson inks in 2000. I acquired this page from my brother Stuart. I read the first dozen Edgar Rice Burroughs novels when I was a boy so I recognized this as an adaptation of The Return of Tarzan with several plot points coming to fruition. Cecil Clayton is near death and he reveals the truth to his fianc�e Jane Porter. French navy Lt. Paul , once stranded and saved by Tarzan, confirmed Tarzan as John Clayton, the rightful heir to the Greystoke title and estate. He was born in Africa to the marooned Lord and Lady Greystoke who perished just after his birth leading to his adoption by the bereaved Kala of the great apes. Tarzan brings his cousin�s body to be buried near his parents by their cabin. The party meet up with Jane�s father Professor Porter and Lt. D�Arnot arrives from the sea. I need to dig into my boxes to find this issue and check for the writer and possibly an inker.

Should be easy to find since the series was 3 issues from Dark Horse 1997.
