DescriptionI know illustration art/oil paintings are not the norm on CAF. I have put up a few others and I have seen folks here do it as well. So I am going for it. This is one I’ve had for about 17 years. It’s from a Russian artist who found his fame in Paris mid 1960’s. He gained popularity with the “big eye” movement. He painted mostly female portraits. I had three (sold two) but this is my favorite. Hope you like it too. I’ll be back to posting some comic art soon.Social/Sharing |

Nice technique for the lace around her neck and the brushy gold strokes for the hairstyle! Looks as smooth as a doll.
