DescriptionThroughout this 1st arc of Absolute Superman Kal is struggling with the sheer power at his fingertips. In the previous issue one of the Peacemakers, Christopher Smith, slaughters innocent civilians Kal saved previously. Great blood red against the gray tones reminds me of the Warren Vampirella Spanish artists OA look. It's just a finish Sandoval likes to make this original complete rather than leave it for the colorist or any color holds.

Extremely striking (sorry, I couldn't help myself), but it's also true. Hard-hitting action and that Amazing red make for a heart-pounding sequence.
