Description

New Druuna out there by a different artist? Apparently Andrea Jula is the official illustrator of the new Druuna series Genesis 2.

When I saw this piece on Catawiki I just knew that I had to have it. There was a painted version of this in the same auction but that went for way more than I could afford I'm super happy to have this. I'm not sure if this was a prelim or if they made a copy and painted over it.

Just so much detail with all the cross-hatching in this piece that makes this almost too busy that every time I look at it I notice more details like the tiny ships in the background or how the torn metal in the lower right corner helps to frame the piece.

Really nice with sci-fi and horror themes with the Druuna sex appeal! Plenty of textures in the pencils that contrast the cold mechanical look with the hot plump flesh!
