DescriptionSTAR WARS THE FORCE UNLEASHED II - ORIGINAL ARTThis graphic novel continues the story of Starkiller, the secret apprentice of Darth Vader, as he escapes captivity and begins a desperate search for his lost love, Juno Eclipse. The Comic is mainly focused on Boba Fett, telling the way his intervention was key to the story later developed in the video game of the same name. Page 45 features Galen Marek battling a highly complex Droid Spider. A fun fact about this scene: when I received the script for this story, the spider hadn’t been fully designed yet—it was mostly a rough concept with minimal details. But it was clearly meant to be a complex design, so I decided to build it entirely in 3D. That allowed me to animate it freely and generate whatever poses were needed. Later, an animated trailer was released showing Galen fighting this same spider—and to my surprise, the design used was very close to the one I had completed for the comic. There were definitely moments where the comic helped inspire the final game! More pages from this sequence are available. Social/Sharing |
