Description

I wanted a page from this series that I loved written by Andy Diggle. I inquired with the art dealer Splash Page Comic Art who got back to me with the following story. The artist, Leandro Fernandez, had to draw the page twice. He first drew the Gotham Museum with a new classical style, on the left, and then changed it to a Gothic style look on the right. So, there are two versions. The original for the published version does not have the human figures drawn on it as he digitally dropped them in from the initial version. I actually prefer the new classical version but I understand why they had to change to the Gothic style for the story. So, I got two pages for the price of one - pretty cool.

Good thing you got both. It makes sense with the Gothic look because this is a sequel to the Mignola story.
