Description

I love this page. And think Scott Mcdaniels is a truly underrated Batman artist. He draws an incredibly dynamic dark knight. That is evident in the larger panel of Batman featuring a maniacal grin courtesy of a self dose of joker toxin.
Andy Owen’s inks really added depth to the piece as well.
McDaniel nightwing run is my favorite sentiment run of comics. I look back at that series very fondly.
Glad to add this page to the collection.

A great example of McDaniel's graphic design approach to drawing comics. But, shouldn't the Joker's toxin do something more to Batman aside from a forced Joker smile? Like, oh, I don't know...kill him?

That top panel is awesome where he just creates the depth of the hall. Getting that evil smile on the large Batman image is pretty unique as well!
