Description
Pérez covers from his famed run on The Avengers are some of the most highly sought after trophy pieces in the market today. The storylines and artwork are among the most fondly remembered and influential from the era, and Pérez's covers are classics and all beautifully rendered. You would be hard pressed to find a better art team than George Pérez and inker extraordinaire Terry Austin! This gem features large images of the entire team flanking none other than Edwin Jarvis! It also features Pérez's love for an incredible amount of detail... check out the "rubble" on the floor (it's usually rocks, everywhere).
This entire issue is a "day in the life"-style story as the Avengers recover from one of the most controversial stories of the entire run, aka the Ms. Marvel/Marcus Immortus story. As this cover indicates, the spotlight eventually falls on faithful butler Jarvis as he gets his own solo back-up story "Bully", wherein he shows that it's not superpowers that make someone an Avenger.
Jarvis later factored heavily into the Marvel Universe as the AI in Iron Man's armor. This even influenced Mark Zuckerberg to create a "Jarvis" style AI in 2016 to manage his personal life IRL.
