Swamp Thing erupts from the earth, seething with rage in this gritty, grounded illustration by Infantino and DeCarlo. Originally created as a T-shirt design for Shirt Shed Inc., as noted in the lower margin, this piece captures the muck monster in one of his most menacing moments. Ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 9.25". Smudging and minor handling wear. In Excellent condition.Social/Sharing |

I guess these coincided with the Swamp Thing TV series of 1990-1993 from the USA Network. I wonder if the T-shirts were sold on studio lots for tourists?
