�� My brother Stuart knew the late cartoonist Jerry Eisenberg and described him as a nice guy. I knew his name vaguely from cartoon credits and learned some details from The Three Tooners in Florence: Behind the World of Hanna-Barbera book from the Italian animation school Nemo Academy. I had bought the book from Willie Ito and met Tony Benedict at Steve Wyatt's Mouse-Con in Concord in 2019. I watched a lot of Saturday morning and weekday afternoon cartoons in the 1960's.

�� I was happy to find a good Loopy De Loop drawing from the estate of Jerry Eisenberg. The eBay seller offers many Eisenberg pieces as well as Willie Ito and Tony Benedict. I�m a little leery of their information on the artwork, but paid a fair price for a vintage drawing. They described this as Jerry�s layout drawing from the episode �Habit Rabbit� yet also named two animators who worked on the episode. However, that episode deals with a rabbit and his carrot addiction. This drawing includes a hunter Quincy and his wife Geneive. There are other offerings showing the woman slamming Loopy to the floor.

There�s a rubber stamp impression K43 71 along the bottom edge.

UPDATE: I was watching MeTVtoons and saw the Loopy de Loop cartoon Raggedy Rug. I saw the scene which matches my Jerry Eisenberg layout drawing. The hunter Quincy iseeks an animal skin rug to satisfy his wife Genevieve. He meets Loopy who offers to pretend to be a rug. When they arrive at the house, the family dog Desmond bites Loopy at this moment. The dog takes further steps to reveal Loopy�s deception to Genevieve until she finally takes a rifle from the wall. Quincy tries to dissuade her, but she blasts Loopy who runs for the hills. Quincy takes after Loopy, but the final scene shows them relaxing around a campfire, then Desmond pokes his head up to join the party. I was able to catch a photo of the scene. The credits list Jerry as the layout artist and the writer as Michael Maltese.
