�� My brother Stuart knew the late cartoonist Jerry Eisenberg and described him as a nice guy. I knew his name vaguely from cartoon credits and learned some details from The Three Tooners in Florence: Behind the World of Hanna-Barbera book from the Italian animation school Nemo Academy. I had bought the book from Willie Ito and met Tony Benedict at Steve Wyatt's Mouse-Con in Concord in 2019. I watched a lot of Saturday morning and weekday afternoon cartoons in the 1960's. This cartoon came later, but I like Droopy and this jungle scene is appealing. The price was right for a vintage piece from the artist�s estate.

�� Droopy, Master Detective storyboard circa 1993 by Jerry Eisenberg. Droopy and son Dripple drive a jeep through an Indian jungle. There�s old temple ruins in the background and a vine covered statue in the foreground. The latter is indicated as a tiger or monkey. This preprinted storyboard page has the Hanna-Barbera logo at the top and has three boxes. The drawing is on a sheet glued over the boxes. The page is signed �Jerry� on the lower right. The board direction has this statement:

PAN with Droopy and Dripple as they ride through the jungle in their little jeep. In the background, we hear the FAST AND FURIOUS BEATING OF INDIAN DRUMS: BOOM BA BOOM BA BOOM BOOM BOOM etc

But don't pan too fast or you'll miss the old temple ruins that they are probably trying to find!
