Description

Not much more you can ask for in a vintage John Blanche pencil illustration for Warhammer Fantasy. All the eyes go to the full color artwork, which I understand. But these vintage interior illustrations, done all in pencil, are by far some my favorite pieces from the Games Workshop universe. Just consider the detail and all the time that went into this piece. No muddy, soft lines here.

John Blanche and Adrian Smith both poured their heart into these pencil interiors they did for the early Warhammer book, all to be reduced on the printed page.

Yeah the early Warhammer books are fantastic (basically got me into the Warhammer universe) but seeing the original piece makes you see just how much extra details are in them.
