I remember walking around the convention, and having chosen a couple of pages from other artists as the ones I was going to spend this money on. I'd already bought a couple of pages, and felt the rest of my budget was to be given to those other pages.

Then I stopped at Gavin's table. I flipped through the pages, appreciating all of them, wanting a couple, but feeling certain I could skip them to get the other artists' pages. Then I saw this page and I knew it was the one.

For a lantern-head like me, this was my kryptonite.

That tilted perspective is so effective!  Love that subtle touch of them all being outlined, too.  Congrats!

That outlining is a nice touch of artistic presentation of ring-provided protection.

At a later convention, Guidry was handing out business cards that used the covers from this series. They are in color and came out very well. He was out of stock of the color business card version of this cover, but I got another and it's awesome.

Now it's my mission in life to get the color version of this one! And like Liam Neeson in Taken, I will not stop until I bring it home. Hopefully, Gavin still has some.
