Description

Tom Scioli is best known for two things:

Working in Jack Kirby's style
Working on GI Joe and Transformers.

.

However, I first "met" Tom Scioli in the pages of a digital comic book that came as a bundle from Comixology. I miss that site.

Anyway, the story was Gødland, a Jack Kirby styled, cosmic epic. It was so Kirby-like, I kept checking to be sure that it wasn't. :)

The next time we "met", he'd drawn a digital My Little Pony cover in Jack's style:

We met again in Houston and this time it was in person and, of course, I asked for a Kirby pony of my own:

At HeroesCon 2025, we met again and I asked him to draw in my Sheldon Mayer characters sketchbook. He opted for S&S and clearly Jack Kirby isn't the only artist he can emulate! :)
