MerMay Aquarium by Melissa Ballesteros 2025

      Melissa Ballesteros is a storyboard artist and character designer in Mexico. I saw a cute Spider-Gwen drawing online and looked up the artist and found her melivillosa Instagram, Melissa Ballesteros ArtStation, and Patreon. I inquired about buying the Ponyo original and Melissa wrote me back when the drawing went up on her melivillosa Ko-Fi page. After I snapped it up, I browsed her store bought this Mermay drawing after a little contemplation on the appeal of the little girl trying to draw the mermaid. The package arrived today via the Mexican post office and USPS. Melissa warned me that Mexican mail was a little slow and it turned out to be three weeks from Mexico to California, but the package arrived in great shape. I'm thrilled to have these after admiring her work for five years.
