My first Keown Pitt piece...

There's not to many Pitt close-ups floating around. So Im more then happy to own this gem.

Actually it was quite funny how I got it and the published print to it:

Once after emailing Dales rep for a while I got a mail with available pieces for this time.

So I saw this gem but it had a "sold" note behind it. I was quite sad since it's one of Dales

best Pitt close-ups and I really wanted it.

While this time I was talking to another fellow CAF member and he told me he
was about to

buy some art from Dale too. I was actually quite curious but I had to wait until he had it home.

So just two months later I was checking his gallery by random and what did I see there ?

You can guess what ;) And the best news were that it was for sale. A little bit of luck and
negotiating made it possible to add it to my collection.

But its getting even more funny:

After deciding to frame this piece I was looking out for the published print, which was quite

hard to find and never for sale on ebay or anywhere else for years. Then I saw Frank from

Aspen having it but u know hes a big Keown fan so I knew there would be no chance to get

it from him. But somehow the luck was shaking hands with me again. Just a few days later I

opened my ebay emails searches and guess what I've seen there. Yes, the print was for

sale and now it's mine too.

The art was also used for an Image Chromium Card in 1994. Actually I dont really know which

card set its from or if it was a promo card (since its from Diamond).

Art dimension is oversized 8x11 !
