New Mutants #93 Unpublished Cover by Rob Liefeld (1990)

Marvel clearly made the right choice with the final published cover for New Mutants #93, which features Cable vs. Wolverine by Rob Liefeld withinks by Todd McFarlane, but this unpublished cover is a fun relic of what might have been. The art for this unpublished cover is on 11" x 17" Marvel art board with the title and other indicia on a removable acetate layer. I really love art from this era before the digital age with all the physical hallmarks of the production process.

If only they had the variant cover blitz that we have now! Sweet vntge Liefeld! His Cable was large and in charge! You get that great inter tangled body and leg work that can only come from Liefeld!
