DescriptionFabian and Kevin turned in a really fun two-parter in this JLA Elseworld's mini.As great as Kevin was on the whole team (I can't think of anyone he struggled to draw), his Hawks and Dr. Fate were among my favorites. None of them showed up that much in his JL run. But when they did, it was always something special. Just look at how great Hawkwoman's wings are in the second panel. And that third panel may be one of my top 10 images of the couples from all of comicdom. As funny as Fabian is, he was smart not to try to match the tone of Giffen/DeMatties. That way only leads to potential chaos - as Fate would say. Excited to get this in summer 2025 from Heritage Auctions. Social/Sharing |
