Judge Anderson, Surrounded by Death by Yevgeny Sokolov

This is absolutely phenomenal. What an incredible piece! Yevgeny's line work is insanely detailed and atmospheric, perfectly capturing the eerie tension between Judge Anderson, Judge Death, and Death of the Endless. The composition is really strong, too. I love that Yevgeny understands line weight. He also creates many different textures with his lines, which also helps separate everything. Many commission artists who put in this much detail don't understand that, and the background, middleground and foreground all blend together with no separation between them, in a cacophany of mindless detail. This piece is a powerhouse tribute to both 2000 AD and Sandman mythology. I'm so glad you and Yevgeny connected!

A bold crossover between the worlds of 2000 AD and Sandman, love the idea for the concept in general, and the highly detailed illustration/vision from Yevgeny more than delivered on the assignment. Great work!

What a magnificent and extraordinary work of art! Yevgeny Sokolov is another Artist that I didn't know until today, I instantly become a fan of his from now on. The quality of this illustration is sublime, one of the best I've ever come across on the Internet. I like both Characters, they are beautiful and interesting with excellent stories in their respective universes.
