3-2025...Very reminiscent of a classic Wile E. Coyote drop, but no, it is from a different Looney Tunes short where a kitten learn to flies!

"She treated that little cat like she was her very own eaglet, taught him everything she could about being a bird - how to fly and everything. And he was plenty eager to learn!"

When an "empty nest" mother eagle adopts a kitten, she tries to teach him flying, but his first attempt has the poor kitten falling from great heights. Here's an original Philip DeGuard (1910 - 1982) production background from the scene where the kitten falls, and it makes us a bit dizzy looking at it - what a drop!

See it at the 1:46 timestamp, as mother zooms down to save her kitten (who has learned to fly by spinning his tail). This cute cartoon was directed by the one and only Chuck Jones and was released to theaters on 2/23/1957. The art is beautifully painted in gouache and red ink on 3-peghole background board measuring approximately 14" x 10.5" with an image that extends to three sides.
