I absolutely loved this series of pieces Sean Murphy created back in 2010. He was regularly posting a Wolverine piece with supporting characters and scenes to represent each letter of the alphabet, which he ultimately collected in the Wolverine ABC's book. You can check out the cover art HERE.

Sean printed around 200 of these books in 2010 primarily to give to editors and industry friends and sold the remaining 40 copies to a few lucky fans at conventions. I was lucky enough to be one of them before Marvel issued a cease and desist.

This is Sean's piece for the letter 'O' featuring Logan on summer vacation. He's joined by Namor while doing some scuba diving. Logan must be a strong swimmer with all that adamantium, ha!

Awesome piece! I'm surprized, though, that Marvel would bother to go after a prominent artist gifting & selling a tiny print run of pinups of Marvel characters given that eveyone in artist alley and beyond is constantly selling pinups, pages, ashcans, etc. featuring every licensed character under the sun.
