Description

A "Book of the Dead" poster concept hand-drawn by Tom Sullivan for Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead. This artwork was created when the film was still being produced under its original working title, The Book of the Dead.

This poster concept, from the personal collection of special effects artist Tom Sullivan, is hand-drawn in pencil on illustration board and depicts the Book of the Dead with a tongue sticking out of its mouth and skull-shaped smoke erupting from the top. It exhibits some discoloration and denting along the edges. Dimensions: 6.5" x 9" (16.75 cm x 23 cm)
