DescriptionAnother grab from Art Adams' inaugural series for Marvel.I love the panels on this one, top to bottom, too hard to pick a favorite. Is it Mojo traveling through dimensions on a pirate ship, the horrifying psychological torture of Rita, or the detailed expressions of both Longshot and Mojo? Though choice! Social/Sharing |

Nice! I remember picking up all these pages from Arthur back then. The last few pages from this issue are inked by Arthur as well. Whilce was nice enough to send them over from Hawaii to Arthur. This whole series is beautiful and classic. Congrats!

Issue #6 was double size and Arthur only inked the tail end of it. So I'm pretty sure this is not pure Adams. None the less, it is an excellent page from the series. Three large, glorious, horizontal panels with the Mojo probably my pick of the litter (but that tight shot of LS at the bottom is pretty sweet too). Even the small panels in the middle are a wonderful visual treat. About as fine an interior panel page as you could want. Congrats buddy.

I think the last 5-6 pages are Arthur as I remember giving him 250.00 for them. So most likely 5 pages as they were 50.00 ea.

Oohhh that is an excellent question and a tough choice as they are all great panels but I'll go with the Mojo pirate ship panel at the top as my fav. Amazing stuff all around though. congrats on adding another page from the series.!

Oh snap! Highly regarded as Arthur really got his confidence and mojo going towards the end of the miniseries.

Last panel for the WIN! Great pick up. Never thought of it before now, but this page is awesome and that's probably because Art was getting better as series went along. Last issue possibly being the best one artistically speaking

Such great storytelling . It is a pity Adams gave up doing interior works. His layouts and panel composition are outstanding!

Is this Art Adams at the top of his game? Maybe, maybe not. What this page represents is an artist taking everything we knew about comic art and turning it on its head. Art was taking pieces of Golden, Simonson and Windsor Smith and making it something completely of his own. What he did here was never seen before, giving characters a highly detailed cartoon quality that sent waves through the comic industry. Creators and customers were floored and continue to be amazed by his work to this day. I was 12 when this came out and I knew that I would pick up anything Adams would draw moving forward and that trend hasn't stopped into my early 50s. Congrats on this one James, it's a quite thrilling page to own of an artist making a historic mark and never turning back. You could write a book on it.

Love this, man. Those last 2 panels...TOPS. I know AA is known for his pin up-y stuff, and rightly so, but I first go back to his '80s sequential goodness...take a look at this and see why. Congrats!
