DescriptionFor the last year or so, my focus has been only on Ed McGuinness's Superman Vol. 2 pages. But when this double-page cover came up for sale, I was shocked to see it being sold by a fellow collector who isn't the type to sell his art. I reached out to him to make sure it was really his, and he confirmed it was.A lot of thinking went into whether the price I paid was worth it. Let's just put it this way: the cash went to a friend who needed it at the time, and it's better that he has it than for it to sit in the bank losing value. I will treasure this piece until it's time for me to sell it. Buying original art has become a super luxury, and my chances of continuing decrease every year because the prices have become ridiculous. But hey, as the old saying goes, nothing lasts forever. Myself and many other early collectors had fun while it lasted. Social/Sharing |

This is poster worthy! It has staying power because of McGuinness' audacity and the Edex polish over the insane levels of excitement that an image like this commands!

Super cool 4 connecting cover set! I can imagine that looking great all combined on a wall (if there's a wall big enough to handle it ha). congrats!
