DescriptionA cool pick-up from Comic Con Nebraska 2025. Gavin Guidry draws one of my favorite eras of the Titans*, when they were going off to college, Bumblebee had joined, and they were starting to deal with more serious real-world issues. (Though this story is hardly serious, as it involves a beach relay against the Fearsome Five!)A great page featuring the full team: Bumblebee and Aqualad (starting panel 1), a speedO-clad SpeedY (starting panel 2), Kid Flash (starting panel 3), everyone's favorite heartthrob Dick Grayson/Robin (starting panel 4), and Wonder Girl pumping weights (panel 5). Worried about Dick's secret identity? So were the editors, apparently, as his Robin mask is drawn on in the book. (Yes, it looks pretty funny to see him wearing the mask with a swimsuit.) * I know stories like this are a bit apocryphal (or at least anachronistic), given the make-up of the team + who they were fighting (Fearsome Five didn't appear until the New Teen Titans run), but I still think it's a fun lineup! Everyone is fit and active with the ready to go beach bods! Teen Titans 90210 should have been a priority when you got Guidry to carry it out.
