It was not received in time for Christmas, but that was mostly down to a fluke email issue, which is unlikely to come up again. I am reasonably confident that if it hadn't been for that issue, this one (plus one other I've yet to post) would've been to me before Christmas -- but I knew that was a risk when ordering in November, and I'll have 'em for next year! :)

Yeah, good idea. I may do that! I actually had the two pieces hanging side-by-side on my wall (well, it was a PRINT of the original Adams cover, obviously, but signed by Adams), but I had to take the print down to find room for other art.

These are great -- what a terrific idea for a Mystery Sketch, and so well-executed by both artists. 

There is a great underwater kissing scene from this same story.

I may have mis-used the word "adaptation" in my write-up above :) To the best of my knowledge, this comic did not adapt anything from the show like the alien baby birth or the mouse-swallow; it was an ongoing comic series telling original stories. 
 

I do recall the very last issue of the comic ending with a scene that led directly into the first scene of the final episode of the TV show. 

Love how the line work manages to be simultaneously super-busy yet also super-clean.

Thank you for not stealing it, lol! I reached out well before NYCC, and I am glad I did. My only delay was figuring out what characters to request. I was strongly considering a famous cover homage, but I couldn't settle on the right cover for me (was leaning towards a few Bronze Age Teen Titans covers, but I kept second-guessing myself). I finally landed on a non-cover-recreation, just Booster and Beetle being goofy, and I'm so glad I did.

No doubt. Most of my collection is hand art, but I do see some cool digital effects sometimes that would be challenging (and probably not particularly rewarding for the artist).
