Description
Leinil Yu is an underappreciated artist in the collecting world I feel. I absolutely love the look of his Hulk, and he had some banger images in this series and I was fortunate to grab this one a while back (either HA or Comiclink. I don't remember which and am too lazy to check). I'm always on the lookout for pages from this series (Especially if they have Hulk), so if you have one and are looking to part with it, feel free to reach out.

This was a terrific miniseries (for the first three issues at least) and this is a really good page. It was a treat to see the published art reproduced from the pencils only. If you are interested, Leinil Yu’s rep, kwanchang.com, still seems to have some Hulk pages from this mini on his site (although sometimes the updating of the site does not keep pace with the sale of pages).

Agreed on the art (I enjoyed the entire series, but I know some favor the early issues before the break), Simon. Kwan's website is really out of date. I have some pieces from the series that I bought from him years ago that are still posted up. I'm sure some are actual listings, but it's hard to know which are which (and last time I emailed I never got a response).

Sorry, Anthony, but I should have guessed you already knew about Leinil’s rep; I did not intend to send you on a wild-goose chase. It must be around ten years since I bought anything from Kwan and he too kept a page that I got from him up on his site as available for a long time afterwards, hence my proviso. When the first pages dropped – it must be close to two decades ago – great pages like yours which feature both Wolvie and Hulk “getting it on” were out of my price range (although in comparison to today’s market they are probably looking positively cheap) so I had to make do with the “quieter” pages like the four consecutive pages at the end of ish 2 leading up to when Bruce has that revelation from, I think, the Dalai Llama in waiting, but which I adore nevertheless. So thank you for posting one of the more exciting pages. The good thing about artists underappreciated by the masses is that those of us who are fans can more affordably pick up multiple pages – that’s the way I look at it.

You're all good! It was a good suggestion. And I agree, when they first dropped I scraped just enough money to get a couple pages with Hulk in them and was lucky to manage that. And yes, prices compared to now were definitely 'cheap' by comparison. I'm glad you got at least something from the run! Leinil's art is always great no matter what it is of.
