These are the four color (CMYK) transparency proofs used for the cover of Heavy Metal issue 3 published June 1977. The front cover is by Jean "Moebius" Giraud and was originally the cover of Metal Hurlant issue 4 published December 1975 in France. The back cover is by Philippe Druillet and was originally the front cover of Metal Hurlant issue 2 published March 1975.
