Awesome cover from what I hear is an awesome series! I've been waiting for the whole series to come out and be collected before reading myself but I'm looking forward to it as I enjoy Dan Watters' writing and Hayden's art looks excellent/timeless and moody in all the right ways for a dark knight detective story. congrats on landing a complete book!
Really nice work!
Very cool as Sherman can breakdown a story and put on a clinic in layouts that makes the storytelling flow so you can't put the issue down. He did it for Absolute Wonder Woman's fairy tale myth and shows versatility in pacing this dark crime noir Batman story.
That's beautiful!
Congrats on the complete issue! Looks fantastic.
Very cool to see the whole book together - thanks for sharing!!
Wow, the complete issue. That is nice. Stunning cover. Not sure whether to read it on CAF or wait for the trade.
The art is fun and creative, but you need the trade to really appreciate the story....
Wow! You picked up an entire book of Batman:Dark Patterns? That's so cool. Thanks for posting the entire book! The art by Hayden Sherman is gorgeous! It's fun to see the original art without words, it really shows how skillful Hayden is at visual storytelling. I love the cover with the strong silhouette of Batman from a photo in the newspaper. And then, as I page through the book, I'm impressed by how beautifully the story progresses visually. Clearly Hayden has learned his craft well. He demonstrated that beautifully in Absolute Wonder Woman and now here. Seems to me that Hayden is going to be an artist to watch in coming years. I look forward to it.
I'm not sure how I missed the posting of this issue! It's spectacular and contanis numerous one-and-done examples of Sherman's visual storytelling skills.
