9.25x12" display board has 3.25x3.25" thin artboard affixed w/clear plastic corner mounts. Artboard features pen and ink original art w/image within 2-7/8" dia. circle. Art depicts one of the key characters in this set, Chic Young's famous comic strip character w/hand-lettered "Blondie" name below art and "Copr. 1946 King Features Syn. Inc." hand-lettered text along top. Art remains clean and Exc. Display also includes separate 2-7/8" dia. sheet of onionskin paper w/red/yellow/fleshtone colors which, when placed over the bw art, provides the colors for the finished button. Margins of this sheet are mounted w/small pieces of double-sided tape to acetate sheet that can be removed and placed over art. Paper has a few thin ripple lines, but these do not detract visually.
