Description

This John Buscema head sketch of the Silver Surfer is on a card that I purchased many years ago and was sealed in a plastic protector when I bought it. It is one of the sketchagraph cards from the Silver age series from 1998. Buscema masterfully captures the essence of the Surfer even in this small image and perfectly renders the darkness around his eyes to evoke the depth of his character.

Encapsulates a lot of the passion and emotion Buscema put into the chracterization of the Surfer! Rare get, it's a legend's art on an early sketchcard.
