Description

One of the first things I looked for when I started collecting original art in earnest was a page of art from the classic 1970’s Godzilla series by Marvel. I still remember putting this series run together as a kid. The hardest issues to find were numbers 7 & 8 because they introduced Red Ronin. So, to get a page featuring not only Godzilla, but Red Ronin, the SHIELD Helicarrier, Dum Dum Duggan, Gabe Jones, and the rest of the crew was a dream come true. I’ve had this page for a while. And it kind of symbolizes my trend of collecting Godzilla comic art. In fact, it was while I was searching for a page from this series that I discovered the fantastic Godzilla art by James Stokoe.

Really thrilling issue with the crossover fun of having the greater Marvel universe connection and Red Ronin providing a Shogun Warriors angle.
