Beautifully drawn page from a key Avengers issue!
Buscema and Klein did some of their most impassioned work in these issues. A fantastic team page switching camera angles to put everyone in view with their reactions.
Historical AND beautiful. I wish Kelin did more issues with Buscema. Such clean and bold linework
What a mighty page and a great set of acquisitions!! Congrats
Beautiful page!
This is the way the Avengers should look!
Get outta here! What a sensational piece. Too bad Klein's run was so brief
Get outta here! What a sensational page. Shame Klein's run was so brief.
Fnatastic, classic page!
Examples of most of the classic line-up. Great page Brian.
What a classic ! Huge congrats
These Buscema/Klein pages are just pure gold!
Love this page!~
Fantastic page!!! Superb pencils and inks!
While some may associate Buscema mostly with Conan (and don't even get me started on his seminal Silver Surfer), John did some of his finest work on his intermittent early run of Avengers (#41-97). This is a great page from the sweetspot of that run, between issues #49-62. Which is quite the compliment, considering that Palmer didn't even start to ink him until issue #74. Those half dozen Klein-inked issues are some of my favorites from the run. Again, great, great, page.
Big John homerun Avengers page - congrats!
Great page Brian! The pages from this period in the 50's are just beautiful and this storyline is one of the best ever. Huge congrats!
Great page! Wonderful angles and brilliantly theatrical poses. A nice bit of comic book history along the way as well.
Excellent page! I know Buscema/Palmer is the iconic combo, but I love George Klein's inks on Big John on these Avengers issues. Under-rated art team!
