Dr. Strange by Kevin Nowlan

Kevin Nowlan appeared at the Eastern Rim Funny Book and Vintage Con which is a totally free to attend con in Baytown, TX. How a free con gets great guests is beyond me, but it does happen every year.

This year (2025), Kevin was one of those guests. I asked him to do a drawing in my sketchbook and he agreed.

As is the custom at our house, we invite comic book creators to dinner at our house after the last day of the con. Kevin and others came over. What I didn't realize / comprehend was that he hadn't finished the drawing and wanted to do it at my house. That's against the rules (no work at the dinner), but I wasn't paying attention and he completed it here. That was totally unnecessary since I was going to see him in Baltimore. Sigh...

As a result of the normal things that go on, I forgot to get his picture with it. So, this one was taken in Baltimore at his table.

Kevin and Dee are wonderful people. Stop by and say hi to them.
