WOW! That is an absolute showstopper of a Capullo Batman cover, and to DCeased #1! love it. DCeased was a solid read/book. Congrats on the great cover and happy halloween!
Man, that looks fantastic! I've collected all the DCeased TPBs as they came out because it sounded like it would be right up my alley, and also because I trusted Tom Taylor, as I had really enjoyed his 5 year long Injustice series. But other than one of them, I still haven't read all of these trades. But seeing this really makes me want to get to it! Congrats on getting such a superb example for yourself, Jason, it really kicks ass!
Official Capullo stunner! Oh my!
Where's a can of Zombie repellant Bat-Spray when you need one?
Nice!!
This is absolutely fantastic! I really enjoy Capullo when he's being more himself than doing his McFarlane riff. Love his version of Bats. His style really fits the character.
Yowza! Now that's a Halloween cover for the ages! Greg Capullo's cover for DCeased #1, featurijng Batman battling a horde of zombies. Love the triangle shaped layout with Batman at the peak trying to hold off the zombie apocalypse. Capullo is one of the best Batman artists in years so he's perfect to draw this cover. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
Amazing! Strong Frazetta vibe with the action, pyramidal composition, and that falling figure on the left
That's a big one - congrats!
Perfection
Epic imagery! Reminds me of my favorite scene from the film John Carter. Capullo did an outstanding job with the drawing here. Huge Congrats!
Batman the Destroyer!
FANTASTIC Capullo add, J! A perfect Halloween add, and perhaps because of its designation as a first issue cover, it makes me think of his Batman #1 cover...? (But I do prefer this one!) And then, with the zombie connection, my brain jumps to the zombified riffs that Suydam produced for the Marvel Zombies series...? (And again, I prefer THIS one!) And -THEN-... with the body positions of the zombies to Batman's immediate right and left (as well as the central one climbing up towards him), it makes me think of Frazetta's Weird Science Fantasy #29 cover... And! Would! You!! Believe!!! I prefer... well, this one may be edged out in that context... :) But still - GREAT cover! And how fitting for an Elseworlds cover to take my brain all over the place! Regardless of how you look at it, it's an incredible pile of win, J, and an amazing add to your immaculately curated super-collection. Congrats (and Happy Halloween)!
EXTRAORDINARY!!!
Great pickup!! Definitely a well known image from a great artist and story!
Happy to see these spankin' sweet new additions, hyung!
Touchdown !
Classic battle cover. Batman straight wrecking these guys atop the hill! Congrats!
A great pose and a wonderful composition. The twist and stoop of Batman's body shows he is gearing up for a real slug-fest. Great image.
