Grandville L'Intégrale Deluxe HC - Remark by Bryan Talbot

At FACTS Fall 2025, graphic novelist and icon Bryan Talbot was one of the main guests this November 2025. For those unaware, he is the person who inspired Neil Gaiman and so many more great writers and artists. He started in the 70s and is still going strong today.

His magnum opus is definitely the "Luther Arkwright" series, but I have a soft spot for his amazing detective series, Grandville. This deluxe edition combines all five original stories about PI LeBrock in one oversized hardcover.

And yes, there are parallels with "Blacksad", in that this is also about an antropomorphic animal detective, who is cunning and knows his way around women. But both are their own story and edge each other out in one or the other art/storytelling department.

If you have not read "Grandville" yet, it's a great alternative history with some great detective stories and memorable characters.
