This "prelim" is a showcase of a true master of the craft ! Every composition sings and the first panel is poetry!
Abby goodness! Also the origin of the Patchwork Man (although his first appearance was the previous issue) ---- great find!
Any prelim that contains PATCHWORK MAN is gold in my book. That first panel alone is pure classic WRIGHTSON!

The Patchwork Man is the Frankenstein stand in and as such it's early Wrightson Frankenstein. Maybe even more visually exciting than the Abby apperance.
